Scotty D. Lusk, LMHC

Scotty D. Lusk is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who joined the staff at Ocala Psychiatric Associates in 1996. He completed his BS in Counseling Psychology at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. He later attended and received his MA in Counseling Psychology at Liberty University in Virginia.

He has over 25 years of experience working with adolescents, couples, individuals and families on a wide variety of issues. He has worked in many different clinical settings which consist of 7 years in long‐term residential program working with adolescents and 5 years of inpatient experience where he served as Adolescent Coordinator for Rapha Inpatient Treatment Center at West Paces Ferry Medical Center in Atlanta and Ocala, FL.

His clinical experience and skills include working with addictions, compulsive behaviors, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and marital therapy.
 
His work with couples involves improving communication skills, increasing intimacy and working out infidelity issues. He is also certified in treating individuals with trauma Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

Linda D. Heise, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who joined Ocala Psychiatric Associates in 2001 with a background in individual counseling (adult and adolescent) as well as couples and family counseling. She also has experience and additional training in sexual abuse, domestic violence, developmental disorders, communication and codependency issues, as well as grief counseling. She has previously been employed by the University of Florida as a professional Parent Educator for the Child Abuse Prevention Project and Clinical Coordinator for The Child Protection Team serving Marion, Lake, Citrus and Levy county regions. She has a continued interest in developmental disorders, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder and Selective Mutism.

Ms. Heise also served several years on the Board of Directors for the Professional Counseling Center in Ocala, Florida.

Ms. Heise's psychotherapy tenet includes, but is not limited to, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT); Systemic, Reality, and Play therapy for children with emphasis on a client‐centered environment.

Allison Arnold-Wigginton, LMHC

Allison Arnold‐Wigginton is a licensed mental health counselor with a vast history in treating children, families, substance abuse and addiction as well as adults with varied mental health disorders. Her experience encompasses a wide range of skills and expertise including specializing in adult trauma survivors, very young children and anxiety disorders. She was trained locally at St. Leo University and then continued her education at Webster University where she was intensely involved in local treatment of the mental health population in our community.

She has been a state lecturer on treating families who suffer from bipolar disorder, increasing communication skills in the work environment, managing eating disorder and using varied treatments to provide trauma informed care to clients suffering from mental health disorders. Her extensive training in hypnotherapy has helped many suffering from anxiety disorders, insomnia, uncontrolled weight gain and phobias.
 
Recognized in her field as a quality and conscientious clinician, she was the social worker of the year for the State Foster/Adoptive Parent Association for her work in helping unite families dealing with trauma. She supervised and managed multiple outpatient mental health facilities as well as served in the clinical director role of an inpatient mental health and substance abuse/addiction treatment center.

Her dedication to the mental health field has served the Ocala community for over 11 years.

Dr. Bruce A. Hartley, PhD, LMHC, Licensed School Psychologist

Dr. Bruce A. Hartley grew up and resides in Marion County. He holds Florida licenses in both school psychology and mental health counseling. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Psychology in 1973 from the University of Florida and his Master of Science degree (M.S.) in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 1975. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Florida in 1983.

Dr. Hartley has worked professionally as a psychotherapist and school psychologist in the Ocala area for many years. From 1975 to 1977, he worked as an alcohol counselor, outpatient psychotherapist, and was supervisor of the drug treatment program at the community mental health center. He has been Lead School Psychologist for the local public school district for over 30 years with psychoeducational testing, counseling, and administrative responsibilities. He is an adjunct college professor and has taught over 150 undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, counseling, and education.
 
Dr. Hartley specializes in testing and counseling for ADHD, learning disabilities, school behavior problems, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. He does individual, conjoint, and family psychotherapy for life stress, depression, and anxiety. He enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults.
